The preventions/solutions herein are free ... which could make them less valuable I suppose, as people tend to value things more when they pay for them, or when they have to get a special prescription to obtain them.

I don't charge because I know how depressing pimples can be and having well managed my and a few close relatives zits over the years quite cheaply and effectively - and without prescription - I wish to freely pass on the info so others may benefit instead of suffering silently.

I acknowledge there are plenty of people out there who will dispute the effectiveness or appropriateness of what I write within this site about acne - for instance, there are plenty of businesses/professionals that make good money from selling preventations/treatments in the form of pills, powders, scrubs and other potions.

But having had crops of pimples over my face, neck, shoulders and chest as a teenager, and trying many of the 'accepted/promoted treatments', I know how effective in particular the technique of cleaniness has been in preventing and treating pimples - as well as having developed a very effective 'explosion' method that minimises damage and the oh-so-often almost-instant regrowth of the same pimple that was supposedly just killed.

Finally here, I wish to thank all those who have written to me over the years since 2001 when info about acne first appeared on this site - your specific questions/situations have assisted me greatly in expanding what is contained herein - and I still very much appreciate hearing from you the readers about your acne issues/solutions or what you read on this site.
