Just a brief mention here about natural remedies for acne - it is brief mainly because I have only recently started research in this area and is mainly to do with homoeopathic remedies - but also because the cleansing technique is so useful, I have little or no personal experience of their use.
Homoeopathic remedies that are listed in my reference material as useful for acne prevention/treatment include Belladonna, Hephar Sulph, Sulphur (mind this one if you use or have used a lot of liquid based pain-relievers), Rhus Tox, Arnica or Pulsatilla - consult a Homoeopath or someone trained in homoeopathy such as a Naturapath or Iridologist for suggestions as best for your individual situation.
Tea Tree oil can be of assistance to help dry acne out - applied after cleaning the affect area and applying the oil by cotton bud - especially for those who wear make-up that may assist in pore blocakage or make washing frequently during the day difficult. Mind though, Tea Tree oil can reduce the effectiveness of homoeopathic remedies and (at the least) should not be stored together.
