Operational Plan
A Central Component of Bizoltancy's Planning Procedures

An Operational Plan is in effect the implementation map of the Strategic Plan, especially when it is developed by fleshing out its associated Strategic Plan's objectives.

Links with the Financial and Marketing Plans should also be formed.

An Operational Plan can be developed prior to a Strategic Plan, especially as most businesses will be familair with their own operations and can therefore in the first instance, set out their Operational Plan to reflect their operating reality.

Whether developing an Operational Plan from or prior to a Strategic Plan it is important to place 'coal-face' detail into Procedures Policies/Manuals, to avoid fattening-out the Operational Plan similar to how a Strategic Plan can be fattened-out by including too many operational details.

Operational Plans may well be the most achieveable 'in-house' type of a plan a business can establish/complete.

An Operational Plan draws from and works in with the Strategic, Marketing and Financial Plans.

We trust operational planning this information is of benefit to you.
